A Bike Ride

13:59

I live for moments like these. To be out in the world, exploring familiar territories and new. Breathing in the country air and just embracing each second. I some times think maybe in a previous life I grew up on a farm as I am never at home as much as I am when in the countryside.

This evening the boy and I took a ride out on our bikes. The first bike ride of the year and it was wonderful. The sun was shining, the air was fresh and it was just what we both needed I think. I managed to capture a little bit of video and I am so pleased with how it has come out.

I have found recently that creating videos is such a release for me. With my photos I try so hard for them to be perfect but with my videos I like that they are not perfect, that they are taken with a wobbly hand and not always in focus. They feel more like home movies to me. This year I made it an aim to shoot more video and so far I have created 4 videos that I truly adore. I cant wait to shoot more and then share them all in one post at the end of the year.

Enjoy the video.

    1. Martian you are just too lovely. I really do appreciate your kindness. Means so much. I was lucky as my friend Katie gave me my bike as she doesn't ride it. :) I am going to start a new bunting for the basket soon. :)
