A misty morning

I love the chance to shoot in fog and this morning mother nature was in our favour. Up early, wrapped up warm and out the door. We drove to a field close by full of thistles and weeping old corn. The fog was perfect with the sun trying to peek through. It was so cold so we didn't stay long but we did manage to capture some great grainy moments.

The colder months are setting in and I can't wait to get our chimney swept so we are able to light the fire, our home gets so cold at this time of year and not having central heating (we have storage heaters) the fire is really the only cheapest option we have of keeping warm, how very old fashioned. The boy is going to call the chimney sweep tomorrow and as soon as he has we are off to get logs and kindling for our wood shed.

This week is the big lead up to my first ever blog camp with Tots100 on Saturday and I am so excited. I am putting together some blog promo to give out to super special people at the event and cant wait to share with you what I have made.

I hope you all have had a lovely weekend and have kept warm. Happy Autumn.

    1. Awww thanks Jenny, :) I used my Nikon D3200 and my 1.4 50mm lens. Nothing fancy in the body of the camera but the lens is amazing and I always think its the lens that makes the picture.

  2. Beautiful photos, especially that portrait-it is quite striking!
