Inside our bedroom

Our home is a tiny little thatch cottage in Oxfordshire. When it comes to our home I am constantly trying to find ways to improve it, although its hard when you don't own it.

Now the craft room is at a stage where it is just a case of hanging some pictures up and filling the shelves with craft supplies we have moved on to sorting our bedrooms. Recently Lee had some holiday and decided to paint the spare room ready for when my amazing friend Amber comes over from Canada for our wedding (I shall do a tour of that room soon enough) but today I wanted to share with you our room.

I spend a lot of time on Instagram and Pinterest and I am continuously comparing our home to others who seem to have the most perfect homes ever. Today I wanted to try and make our room more homely instead of just somewhere we sleep. With a alphabet bunting above the bed, some engagement photos on the wall, a crate to keep all my girl bits and bobs and the small little touches our room feels a little bit more than just somewhere we sleep. I hope to add more touches before the wedding as this space is where I shall be getting ready for our wedding and hope that being in my comfort space it will keep me calm on that frantic wedding morning.
