Creative Moments - Sail Away With Me Honey - Walnut Shell Boats

This weekend after having to cancel the first craft afternoon, or as Katie calls it a crafternoon, my favourite girls and I all got together and Keri-Anne's house to make some walnut shell boats and eat scones.

Last year I decided that I wanted to make little keep sakes for our wedding guests (mainly the ladies) and I thought how about Keri-Anne's walnut shell boats. They are cute, rustic and fit perfectly with our rustic theme.

So us ladies all sat round Keri-Anne's dining table and started creating these tiny little boats, exchanged wonderful conversation, laughed, listening to records and to make it extra special my darling Aimee made us sugar crusted scones with clotted cream and lovely jam and boy I think they have to be some of the nicest scones I have ever tasted.

Some days I find myself thinking about the friends that I used to have and for what ever reason we drifted away but I am so grateful for those that stick by me no matter what my faults and these girls truly are the best girlfriends I could ever ask for. So I shall say thank you to my dear sister Becky and my loveliest girlfriends Keri-Anne, Aimee, Katie and Michelle for all your help and support with our wedding. I will forever be grateful to you all.
