My Weekend - Epiphany

This weekend has been simply wonderful. Full of laughter, love and friendship and to end I my weekend I am listening to the Little Princess Soundtrack.

Recently I have really been doubting myself and my photography but this Saturday really helped me to remember what photography is all about. Memories. Capturing those moments in pictures. I had plans to drive my friend Aimee to Watford but this was cancelled so I decided to spend some time with Keri-Anne and her two little girls and I am so glad I did. It was just what I needed to inspire and bring back a little of my spark and love for the important things. I spent the majority of the day with the girls and spent hours taking pictures of their every move that by the end of my time with them, Keri-Anne's eldest Elle said "I've had enough of the camera now!"

Spending the day with these three has really helped me realise what is important in life and its not how many people like or comment on my pictures or social exceptance, its friends and family. I am so lucky to have the people I do in my life and if it takes moments like this weekend to  spark that epiphany then I wont moments like that all the time.

Today I am truly grateful for my life.

  1. Such beautiful images, I bet Keri-Anne will love what you have captured of her two little angels :-) It's rare I get at all broody but whenever I see her little girls pop up on her blog or Instagram feed I do get that 'one day' feeling! :-)
